AI is rapidly entering the contract management field. Organizations are experimenting with AI for everything from clause review and drafting to governance reporting, obligations management and performance analysis.
But for most contract managers, the real question is still practical: how do we actually use AI in day-to-day contract management without creating new risks? This course focuses on exactly that.
Through practical examples and real-world contract management scenarios, you will learn how AI can support post-award activities such as analysing service reports and SLA performance, maintaining obligations and governance structures, preparing governance packs and summaries, handling change requests more systematically, identifying risk patterns and escalation signals, preparing dispute and issue documentation, and supporting renewal, exit and transition planning.
Along the way, you will gain hands-on experience with prompting techniques and Generative AI workflows that can be applied directly in everyday contract management practice. The emphasis throughout the course is practical application. You will learn how to use AI responsibly, critically and within proper organizational guardrails.

A practical set of prompt frameworks, checklists and examples used throughout the course.
