Our founders

René Franz Henschel

Professor at the Department of Law, Aarhus University. Fellow, WorldCC, certification at expert level. René is an experienced educator and researcher in contract law as well as contract management.

He has published a large list of articles and books concerning the subjects and has a lot of practical experience through his work as a consultant – working for law firms, regions, municipalities and IT suppliers amongst others.

René has taught in contract and commercial management since 2010. He was appointed Fellow in January 2021 by WorldCC for his great contribution to developing contract management as an international disciplin and his personal commitment to spreading WorldCC's vision and mission of creating more value in trade relations.

Gert Grann Jacobsen

Gert brings more than 30 years of experience as a deal maker and business developer from some of the leading companies in the IT industry.

Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President for Global Operations at SimCorp. Over the past years, Gert has focused his deep experience in both large-scale and small deal contracting on Contract and Commercial Management processes and platforms, helping organizations strengthen how they structure, manage, and scale commercial agreements.

With a background as a software engineer, Gert was also one of the early pioneers of e-learning in the 1990s, when he led IBM’s technology training initiatives - well ahead of their time. A rare combination of commercial, operational, and technical expertise, grounded in decades of hands-on leadership.

C-Learn operates in strategic partnership with the Nordic School of Contract & Commercial Management (NSCCM) — one of the most established learning institutions in the Nordic region dedicated to contract and commercial management.

For many years, NSCCM has played a central role in developing professional capabilities in the field, providing structured education and advanced training programmes to organisations and practitioners working with complex commercial relationships and contracts.
